I was there with my surfer friend and I was surprised because I ate the best burger of my life!!! Adrian is a very good chef and also a Franch Tiramisu there was delicious!! Hello everyone, I've been traveling regularly to the Atlantic coast ever since my father discovered this lovely campsite in L'Amelie in 1992. Last week (August 28, 2025) we wanted to go to Vensac – there's a nice market there every Thursday (weather permitting) during the season. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't so good that Thursday, so we needed another place to get something tasty to eat. On our way back from Vensac to Soulac, we discovered "le Relax café." Actually, it was only because our son was nagging us terribly: "He wanted to play mini golf!" So, we stopped and got out. A very friendly waitress showed us a table. My beautiful wife, who, despite her camping phobia, chose the Atlantic coast again this year, got a Super Bock beer, I got a Leffe Blonde, and of course, our son, the little terrorist, got a Fanta. We were there again today, September 4, 2025, and the super-friendly waitress immediately brought us a Super Bock, a Leffe Blonde, and a Fanta. I had the carbonara today – wow, the best carbonara I've had in years! My wife and son are fans of the burgers. I also had a small bite, and the burgers are top-notch, as is the price-performance ratio! The Relax Café has a cool 80s style. There's a bar, a pool table, and awesome surfing and snowboarding videos on a flat screen at the bar. The owner is a totally relaxed and friendly guy! You pay at the bar! At our first "date," the crew sat at a camping table and "prepared" for the evening. ``` Especially as a German, I often feel less than welcome when I think of the beer bellies, tennis socks, and sandal-wearing people of our great nation, but here it's completely different – ​​zero resentment! If you want a local, warm experience away from the tourist rip-offs—and you can really believe me, my wife loves eating out—the Relax Café is the perfect place for you! The menu is clear, just the way I like it, and there's something for everyone! Vegetarians are also well catered for, and I think if you ask nicely as a vegan, you'll definitely get some lettuce leaves with olive oil... ;-) I'm already looking forward to my wife choosing the Atlantic again... Welcoming team Very good atmosphere

Third time here, the staff is always welcoming and friendly. The dishes ordered and served are generous and excellent. One small drawback is the XXL rib-eye steak, which was far too fatty for a heart of walnuts.

Great time, the burgers are excellent! And the kids had a great time playing mini golf.

The service was very friendly and the food was good. The seats were uncomfortable.

Nice restaurant for a drink and a meal with friends or family. We had the mussels marinière with fries, yum. The space is pleasant with trees and flowers, and the kids can play mini golf while they wait.
