Here is a restaurant that no longer needs to prove itself... a beautiful menu that does honor to Auvergne - local charcuterie, small fried dishes, Salers stew, but not only... very friendly welcome and service from Martine.

What can I say about this place? Excellent food with impeccable service. However, remember to be very hungry before coming and remember to book as it is often full.

We are a group of cyclists, we had our snack, we just wanted to rest for a while and order drinks and we were really very well received. Thank you to the team for their welcome and their friendliness. 👍

A good experience, a good, simple and friendly table

A great place for lovers of traditional cuisine. Old-fashioned recipes, very well prepared and generously served. A real tourist destination, not a tourist trap!

I'm (finally) taking the time to leave a review for this establishment! What can I say other than don't hesitate to go there! Booked this Sunday for a meal during a motorcycle ride, we were very well received (despite a slight misunderstanding during my reservation, sorry again!) by a smiling, pleasant, and efficient staff. We had a very pleasant time and found the value for money to be absolutely fair. Really nothing else to say but to recommend this establishment! See you soon!

A truly delightful restaurant, thanks to both the friendly and attentive staff and the excellent quality of the food. Our dinner (a party of four) included: gizzard salad, country salad, calf's head with gribiche sauce, trout, coq au vin, baked Alaska, fromage blanc with red berry coulis, and two scoops of ice cream. Everything was delicious, especially the calf's head. I highly recommend it.

Great restaurant, not to be missed! Lunch reservations accepted for dinner (5 people), but I think it's possible to come without a reservation. We've been going there for 20 years, and we'll be back in future years. With a wide variety of menus to suit everyone's appetite, the number of dishes offered and their quality (homemade, typically French) is just as great. I'll take my meal as an example: a €38 menu consisting of a starter, a fish main course, a meat main course, cheese/cottage cheese platter, and a dessert. The quality and quantity are well worth the price. Starter: Tête de Vouvray with gribiche sauce (excellent, almost a main course) [see photo] Fish: Trout meunière (super well cooked, easy to open) [see photo] Meat: Duck confit with vegetables and potatoes (I recommend this dish, and the sides are very good despite their somewhat ordinary appearance) [see photo] Cheese: Fromage blanc (coulis, sugar, or plain) because I was already quite full, but the platter has a wide selection (fresh cow's milk, goat's milk, Saint-Nectaire, etc.) Dessert: Vanilla and strawberry vacherin (but I also recommend the raspberry gratin). Attentive service, nothing to complain about. Clean restrooms, which is always nice. Thank you very much! I recommend it.

Typical, very good value for money. Quality service, group. The Norwegian omelet for groups (6-7 people minimum and must be ordered in advance) is delicious. I recommend it!

We had a great time in this charming restaurant with traditional cuisine, homemade dishes with a quality-price ratio like we have seen more... (if only the cheese platter at 5€) and that many restaurateurs should follow!!
