I gave this review 4 years ago and have returned a number of times since then. The food is still exquisite, the service is exceptional and for anyone interested in wine you will be looked after. This is a must visit in Sète. They also have a restaurant in Sète's wonderful market. Great experience! The service was stand out, particularly given we speak little French. The menu has a number of interesting options (not your standard type) and we enjoyed the food. The absolute highlight was the tarte which we understand is an old family recipe. It was divine!

Passing through Sète on our way down from Spain with our two children, we found this restaurant online. The person on the phone to take the reservation was incredibly kind and professional, and the staff there were fantastic, as was the food. I highly recommend stopping by and asking for recommendations on food and wines. The staff is truly excellent!

We had dinner as a couple. A very warm welcome; the servers were attentive and responsive. They were so friendly, we felt right at home. The wine list is excellent and makes you want to try everything. And what about the food?… Well, it was delicious. The oysters were local, the octopus salad was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of vinaigrette, and the presentation was original as well. For our main courses, I had the Sète-style fish stew (bourride sétoise) and the six-week aged Black Angus. The dessert was also very good: a Sète-style squid (larron sétoise) and an affogato (a type of brioche). A truly delightful experience. We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. We will be back! 🥰

28/09/2026: Note: Dinner service starts at 7 pm, so keep that in mind if you plan to arrive earlier. We had dinner here last night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience: the welcome was very warm, the location is superb, and the view of the river was truly lovely. We started with a drink. Nothing special to say about the beer, but my Aperol Spritz was less than convincing: it tasted more like fruit juice than a proper Spritz. That said, ordering an Aperol in France might not have been my brightest idea. 😄 On the other hand, the food was truly delightful. We opted for the starter and main course. The starters were very good, but the main courses far exceeded our expectations. The mussels with Roquefort cheese were excellent. I had the tuna steak with rice—absolutely delicious, probably the highlight of the entire meal. Given the quality of the food, the price is entirely justified, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. I highly recommend this place.
