Restaurant Allard sur Paris

We had a great time at Maison Allard. The somewhat cold welcome at the beginning quickly resulted in a moment of exchange and professionalism. The weekday menu is very accessible and meets expectations. Real French gastronomy cuisine the way we like it! Thanks to the chef for her associations and her gourmet cuisine. And thank you to the service team for their always attentive eye! .

A classic that has become touristic and expensive.

I have been eating at this restaurant since 1999. Every time I returned to Paris I repeated it. We were there on Saturday night as a group of 8. We left sad. It is not what it was, neither the quality nor the service. the duck was overcooked, the pigeon was burnt, the chicken was dry and even the dessert was bad and the worst thing was the waitress insisting on an extra tip. The only good was the cheese/pasta and the escargots

Excellent service and great atmosphere in this legendary restaurant in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. You will not be disappointed with the setting. Having said that, the food is extremely disappointing. The portions are minuscule and borderline ridiculous. My friend had the "filet de boeuf" and I had the "pigeon a l'américaine". I was lucky to get ONE bite out of the pigeon on my plate. That was it...the steak was also so small, it was about 4 forks of it. What was not minuscule was the price though. But that in itself was not THE issue since I knew this was a very upscale restaurant. Wine was delicious, service was impeccable. Cannot recommend this place and will not return there. Avg price person is 150€ for dinner.

Parisian institution, the cuisine is good. Small problem with the choice of dishes which can be limited depending on everyone's diet and tastes. The service is quality and the staff is very qualified and pleasant. The setting is warm and typically Parisian of the time. On the other hand, the tables are very close together and the room is therefore very noisy. I recommend the chicken with olives and the beef with pepper! Avoid the macaroni gratin… the quality/quantity ratio is not the best! At all !

The main courses, beef tenderloin with peppercorn sauce and veal sweetbreads with a pan-drippings light brown sauce, were superb. The sauces were especially notable. The server made two material mistakes, with the order and with the check, without any acknowledgment or apology. I asked three different servers to identify the delicious green herb paste served with the sweetbreads, and I got three different answers. When paying, probably because we are American, the server indicated that I should state a gratuity to be added to the total amount before closing out the check, which is presumptuous and offensive in my view. I found the staff overly serious, maybe even tense, with a few pleasant exceptions such as the gentleman greeting at the door who was very kind.

Obviously the food is very good, but it's really a brasserie with prices a little too high for a package where you could expect better. The waiter seemed to be only waiting for the end of the service, barely even smiling. Angry even. I sent back Escargots because one of them was empty (it happens) but he seemed upset to send it back. I almost had to justify myself. Other Parisian brasseries are better. It's a shame.

Obviously we came here for the cannette aux olives, which was great! The only thing that I would change is the table they gave us... we were literally blocked behind it without being able to move, unless a waiter came and first moved the table for us.

Amazing. Great experience--exceptional food, ambiance, service and atmosphere. Chef Latetia has made a good place a great place.
