We had our Valentine's Day meal there; after an excellent homemade aperitif, we enjoyed a very good meal that lived up to the occasion. The service was very good.

We've been going to this restaurant since it opened over 15 years ago, and it's always a delight for the taste buds. Online booking is now available, which is a great feature. Very reasonable prices for Brive.

A very good brasserie in the city center. Reservations are recommended. Homemade cuisine at a very affordable price. One star less for the dessert: a brioche-style French toast, which shouldn't be called that but rather frangipane brioche, as I wasn't expecting frangipane and I hate it. I was expecting a more modern take on brioche, perhaps with salted caramel. When the name differs significantly from the original, it would be helpful to inform the customer so they know what to expect, because if I had known, I would have chosen a different dessert. The dessert didn't impress me at all, but I'll come back for lunch to try something else. I recommend this brasserie.

We have been to this restaurant on a number of occasions over a long period of time - over a decade - and it never fails. There are no egos here, just very professional owners and staff who's only goal is to look after their customers impeccably. A broad menu interesting twists, cooked properly and to your request, efficient, friendly and unobtrusive service and very good value for money.

13/02/2026: The joke is… when you invite your daughter for her birthday on Friday, February 13th, and they forget to tell you it's a special meal for Valentine's Day… (which is celebrated on Saturday, February 14th)… and she doesn't like either the appetizer or the dessert 😭😭 Very disappointed 😞
25/01/2026: A wonderful discovery! A friend recommended it to us. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. We received a very warm welcome and our needs were taken care of. I had called to ask if they had vegan options, and they informed me that they would be happy to accommodate me and asked if I ate mushrooms. Upon our arrival, they asked who was vegan and explained what was planned for me. I felt truly valued, which was very pleasant. The food was a delightful discovery. It was a real pleasure, both for the meat-eaters in our party (my partner) and for the vegans in my party (meat-eaters). I highly recommend this establishment. We will be back. I am very grateful to the chefs for creating such excellent vegan dishes. I also thank our waitress who explained the menu clearly. My partner loved the meat, which melted in his mouth. (The amuse-bouche board had a meat-eater side on the left and a vegan side on the right. It was delicious.)

10/01/2026: Everything was excellent: the welcome, the quality of the food. A top-notch restaurant right in the heart of the city.
21/10/2025: Nice, pleasant restaurant, with a varied traditional menu and a good daily special at an affordable price. Responsive and pleasant service. The plates are a bit small, however. A small downside was the brownie, which ultimately wasn't a brownie (but was still very good).
