I loved my royal couscous to go. Absolutely no complaints. Flavorful, delicious, and generously portioned. The broth was excellent, and the meat was very good. If I may, the carrots could have been cooked a touch longer, and there could have been a bit more zucchini. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you.

The couscous was good, but the waiter scared away the last customers by leaving the front door open! 👎 That's unprofessional!

Having frequented this restaurant for over 20 years, I can confidently say that it serves the best couscous in Strasbourg. The vegetables are cooked to perfection, the sauce is flavorful and perfectly spiced, and for meat lovers, the meat dishes are generously portioned and exceptionally well-prepared (a special mention for the mint meatballs). Takeout is available. However, the decor has aged considerably, and it's a real shame the dining room hasn't received a thorough cleaning. Layers of dust and cobwebs on the decorations detract from the cozy atmosphere. It's a pity; this institution of Middle Eastern cuisine deserves a refresh to showcase its delicious dishes and breathe new life into the place.

The restaurant itself is small and rustic, but this is precisely what gives it its warm and authentic atmosphere. You immediately feel welcome, thanks in no small part to the very friendly and attentive hosts who make your visit so enjoyable. A place without frills, but with plenty of heart and honest cuisine – Aristide is a must for couscous lovers and anyone who wants to eat off the beaten tourist track.

My friends and I have been going to this restaurant for over 25 years. Excellent dishes on the menu. The Royal couscous is magnificent. The atmosphere is intimate and very calm. Cyril, the owner, is discreet and has a great sense of humor. See you soon!

I came to pick up a takeout order for the first time. Once I placed my order, I could collect it within 5 to 10 minutes. My dog ​​was able to wait calmly inside (thank you for that too). If you bring your own condiments, you get 10% off the final price (to avoid plastic waste, great idea). AND OF COURSE THE BEST: Chicken and merguez couscous. I totally approve! Very good! Discovering this restaurant was a bit of a disappointment, as I would have loved to give it a 5-star rating. The welcome was warm and friendly, the setting quite pleasant, which suggested a wonderful experience. We opted for the royal couscous: Semolina and vegetables: perfect, very enjoyable, no complaints whatsoever. Meat: a huge disappointment. The kebabs were completely absent, the merguez sausages were barely fresh, a lamb bone with only one but excellent bite of meat, a delicious meatball, and a tasty chicken leg. In short, despite a couscous that could have easily satisfied us with its accompanying dishes, the poor quality of the meats marred the experience. A real shame, because everything was in place for us to have a fantastic meal.
