A gourmet restaurant right in the heart of the village, with a beautiful shaded terrace. I took a tasting menu, throughout the seasons, 55 euros, and it was excellent: numerous and varied appetizers, an exquisite crab as a starter, a delicate pigeon breast/confit accompanied by tasty corn creations, and a hazelnut dessert citrus fruit with an inventive and light composition. All accompanied by a glass of Irouleguy, and dinner is a huge pleasure after a good day of hiking! Well done to the chef and the service.

The food was quite good The terrace too, but the service was very unfriendly Even advised us not to order dessert I've never experienced anything like that in my entire life I wouldn't visit again

Vam anar a visitar el poble de Sara/Sare i no sabiem on menjar. Sabíem algun restaurant/bar que recomenaven en un bloc de viatgers. Finalment, vam anar a un que ens va cridar l'atenció. Els preus són elevats, però val molt la pena provar els plats que ofereixen! El servei excel·lent, col-loquial en tot moment. No ens arrepentim pas de la desició que vam prendre. Vam provar el "Côte de beau du Baztan", el "chuletón", entre altres. Tot boníssim!!! Com que era sopar, vam poder veure el poble de nit! Amb les llums i l'ambient nocturn.

13/11/2023: The rooms were large, but the bed was very uncomfortable and so were the pillows. Both nights I slept, I woke up with a lot of back pain. The guy at the reception was very friendly and kind. He knows Spanish. The first night the air didn't work, so we were cold, but the next day we told the receptionist and he fixed it quickly for us. Also that same morning we woke up without power, but that could have been from the storms. It says it had a refrigerator and it did, but it was unplugged. Fortunately we didn't bring anything to put in the cold. The little town was beautiful and quiet.
26/10/2023: It is located in Sare, France where you take a very typical rack train that takes you to a peak that is known as the Cantabrian,
