Nice atmosphere with very good service. The house-style choucrute is a real hit, very tasty and a nice portion. Add a bottle of Edelzwicker and the day is perfect.

Very warm restaurant. A great welcome and service worthy of the greatest palaces. The cuisine is refined and the choice is varied. The Golden Lion restaurant is a very nice place for a meal rich in flavor. I can recommend you to stop at this place during your visit to Alsace

This is the kind of touristy place where you get the bare minimum. The food is ...ok, the service even worse. But not the kind of place you'd want to visit again.

An einem Wochenende ist es sehr schwierig allgemein einen freien Tisch zu finden egal welches Restaurant. Nur mit viel Glück konnten ich & meine Familie uns einen Platz ergattern. Das essen war ok nicht die Beste Champion- Suppe & auch nicht das beste Kalbsgeschnetzeltes.

26/03/2024: We ate at this restaurant last Saturday. Go for it !!!! The atmosphere is warm, the servers are very friendly, and we had a great time (sauerkraut, baba kouglof, iced kouglof, and the white wine was delicious... congratulations to the winemaker!). It was very good ! The Bretons on Saturday noon.

24/03/2024: Visit this essential restaurant when we go on a weekend in Alsace. You can find all the Alsatian specialties there, the atmosphere is friendly and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Don't forget to book in advance.
