We were here on a hike and were lucky to get a table without a reservation. Good food, quick and friendly service, great location

A little corner of France, lost on the NE borders of the country, but in the heart of the EU. We wonder who could come to get lost in these remote places to find 'restoration'. But once seated, then the meal has been eaten, we understand that so many people want to come and enjoy this haven of greenery, calm and delights. Bravo to the kitchen and the (smiling) service!

Restaurant situé en France jusqu’à preuve du contraire par contre on s adresse à vous en allemand …. Clientèle majoritaire….

Cet établissement semble être débordé dès qu'il y a du monde, surtout aux beaux jours avec la terrasse. Pourtant les serveuses sont très dynamiques (chapeau!!), donc ça pêche ailleurs. Peut-être un manque de personnel en cuisine ? Côté plats (servis après 1h20 d'attente!), les avis de ma tablée étaient assez mitigés. Dommage, le cadre est très agréable...

Hôtel Restaurant Au Cheval Blanc

05/09/2024: We spent a superb family weekend at Le Cheval Blanc. Welcome by the Zinck family. We stayed in the Alsatian house which has 3 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The house is modern, clean, pleasant and very comfortable (jacuzzi, terrace and soon the sauna) The hotel is suitable for children (swimming pool, playground, Ping Pong, chess, library, mini golf, etc.) We took half board. Perfect and very varied breakfast. The evening meal taken at the restaurant was just incredible and very tasteful. The Zinck family and the staff are very kind, they took great care of us and we had special attention for our children. We had a pleasant stay, we recommend it and we will return soon 😊
04/09/2024: Dinner at Cheval Blanc: it was really very good. Robust and refined Alsatian cuisine and a very fine wine list.
