A fantastic discovery! 😻 This typical Alsatian restaurant is simply incredible. The dishes are delicious, authentic, and beautifully presented. 🥰👌🏽 The service is also impeccable: the servers are very attentive, welcoming, and always go the extra mile. You feel truly comfortable from beginning to end. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to discover authentic Alsatian cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Absolutely nothing to complain about, everything was perfect! 👌🏽😃

Oh my gosh. This place is absolutely amazing. We felt so lucky to stumble upon this place. We were staying one village north in Beinheim and were looking for a place for an early dinner since we had skipped lunch. Most of the restaurants in our small town didn't open till 6:00 and the one that was open earlier was booked for a private wedding. So we went on the hunt for something nearby and we hit a goldmine with this place. To stumble upon this was nothing short of a miracle. We got there at 4:45 and it was already near to bursting with an all local crowd, which is a great sign. They had one large table in the corner for our group of 6. Wait staff spoke very little English, but the chef owner was incredible and took lots of time to translate the menu, answer questions, recommend wine, etc. Every single bite was the epitome of French cuisine. Definitely try the frog legs. And if they are doing creme brulee that night, it will be the best you'll ever have. By 6:00 there was a line out the door of folks waiting for a table in the quaintly appointed, small, 40 person dining room. When standing room would open at the bar, the line would shift and the waiting crowd would be able to grab an apertif before sitting for dinner. We met a German couple at the table next to us who lived 3 kilometers away on the German side of the river and they said they come twice a month and have been for years. One of the best, if not the best, restaurant in the Alsace region. Get there early and enjoy.

We love it! The food is always superb and typically Alsatian. A very authentic restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Reservations aren't possible, but it's all part of the experience to queue up or have an aperitif while you wait for a table.

A fantastic restaurant with typical Alsatian flair! The food is excellent, and the menu ranges from frog legs, snails, and fish to lamb, veal, and beef. They don't take reservations, but when the restaurant is full (which it usually is), waiting in the courtyard with an aperitif is quite relaxing… Friendly and attentive staff!

Good ambiance, delicious steak 🥩 but the best was Creeme Brûlée delicious 😋

Spectacular restaurant with excellent quality food at a reasonable price. We loved everything we ate, including the fish soup and the salmon with vegetables, which was delicious. They were very attentive when serving us. The owner was also charming. We didn't have a reservation, and he welcomed us in the warmest way possible. We will always recommend him and we will return.
