Restaurant Auberge Batby sur Soustons

We came for lunch as a group of eight to celebrate a birthday on Sunday, March 22nd, at noon to this charming inn with a splendid view of Lake Soustons. Charlène, wife of Thomas, the chef, gave us a warm welcome. The asparagus-themed menu that day was absolutely delicious, as was the three-course menu with its incredible flavors. Despite the number of guests, Charlène took excellent care of us, explaining each dish, which was fresh, generous, and very well prepared. We also appreciated her excellent advice on our wine and champagne choices. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this inn, run by this charming, motivated, and dynamic young couple.

This isn't my first time visiting this magnificent lakeside location. But tonight, what a joy it was to have the chance to savor the "Asparagus Festival" menu. From the amuse-bouche to dessert, Chef Thomas elevated the asparagus to new heights. A bold, creative, and delicious meal. Pure bliss. I also want to thank Charlene for her professionalism, her kindness, her smile, and all the explanations she provided during my meal. See you very, very soon!

This restaurant is ideally located on the shores of Lake Soustons. The cuisine is inventive, the cooking is perfect, and the service is excellent. Special mention goes to the asparagus menu, which is an absolute must-try.

We spent one night there. Everything was perfect: clean, excellent restaurant meal 👍. Breakfast was plentiful and homemade, also excellent 🙂. We greatly appreciated the kindness and friendliness of the hotel staff 🙏. We will return in the spring ☺️

I first stayed at this hotel in 2024 and was immediately impressed. The hospitality, quality, and attention to detail truly won me over. The rooms are tastefully furnished, the cuisine is outstanding, and the hosts are exceptionally friendly. Even if it was just for a day, I was delighted to return in 2025! We came for lunch yesterday. We received a very warm welcome. We were the only customers in the restaurant. A very attentive waitress explained the dishes we were about to order. The dishes are prepared fresh to order, which demonstrates the freshness of the ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend this restaurant.
