Restaurant Auberge de l'Abbatiale sur Auberive

Excellent time spent with family at the Abbatiale restaurant. We only had lunch in the establishment without accommodation. Romain, the waiter, was very welcoming and pleasant with us, always available and caring. The dishes are well made, tasty and carefully prepared. The service was also quick. I particularly liked the atmosphere and decoration of the place, a mix between the old medieval castle style and the modern with more contemporary paintings. I recommend this establishment!

We went to the restaurant from a local campsite (easy walk) From other reviews we understood this was not to be a cheap meal and that menu choice might be limited. Both proved to be the case - but what an amazing place! The setting, ambience and quality of the meal and service were well worth the price. The setting alone is stunning. Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. It might be a treat to go there but find an excuse. It was wonderful. Four course meal with G&T, wine, sparkling water and coffee for 2 was €147.

An absolute experience in a historical ambience! The auberge was designed with great attention to detail. The “lady of the castle” and her “entourage” look after you in a friendly and courteous manner. Unexpected delicious restaurant cuisine quality ensures culinary enjoyment. Highly recommended.

Magnificent stopover near the abbey, atypical restaurant, pleasant atmosphere and very high-level cuisine

Très bon accueil ! Aucune réservation et on nous a accepté Endroit dans son jus mais très bon repas !! Et visite pour l exposition juste à côté Abbaye cistercienne

Stayed at a local campsite and went for dinner. Staff were amazing and food was exquisite. Limited menu options but everything we had was delicious so think whatever you pick would be great. Lovely place to go if you are in the area its a must!
