Lunch on a sunny March day, always a warm welcome with a smile, a very good two-salmon tartare, excellent, and incredibly fresh... What else? L'Amiral will always be L'Amiral, a place to recommend! 👍🍻

After a good hike in Bandol, I was looking for a place to eat that opened around 2 pm, and to my surprise, I stumbled upon L'Amiral. A warm welcome; you really get the feeling you're not intruding at that hour, which, in my experience, isn't always the case. Anyway, I settled in, feeling completely exhausted after a 13 km hike, and ordered a ribeye steak and fries to revive me, you know 😅, and a nice Mourvèdre de Bandol (red wine). The price-quality ratio was excellent... but after this wonderful experience, both personally and gastronomically, I encourage you to enjoy a pleasant moment there too 😍.

A lovely and quite good brasserie, and not just for tourists! Well located, the welcome is very charming, as is the service, which occasionally overlooks requests (bread must be a rare commodity in Bandol?). The setting is cozy and you feel right at home.
The dishes are simple yet well-executed; overall, the portions are quite generous and nicely presented. Pretty good value for money.
A good establishment, or a good ship that knows how to sail well... and you won't get seasick! Isn't that right, Admiral?
