A very popular establishment in the center of Gérardmer, right in the heart of the town center, the tables fill up almost as soon as it empties, and yet the staff are incredibly attentive to their customers.

We had a great time. A wide selection of dishes (pizzas, hamburgers, meat, or salads), generous and delicious portions. Reasonable prices. Friendly service and staff. I recommend it.

We ate at this restaurant on a Sunday evening during the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival). We received a very warm welcome (we had two babies with us, and everything was arranged to ensure we all had a pleasant time). The service was excellent, and the food was very good; my veal Milanese was enormous and absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant, even with young children.

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant with its pleasant atmosphere. The staff were attentive to our needs (I was pregnant) and desires, and incredibly responsive! Everything was delicious and plentiful, with a focus on the quality of the ingredients and customer satisfaction. I would definitely go back!

La Taverne Alsacienne

19/05/2026: Good experience at the Alsatian Tavern: I had a very good meal; the tarte flambée was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The servers were also friendly and the service pleasant. You can tell it's a very popular tourist spot. The only real downside (for me) is the lack of space between the tables; they're really very close together (20cm apart). So you have to like fairly cramped places. Personally, it's not really the kind of atmosphere I enjoy. But it's still a good place to eat a good tarte flambée in Gérardmer 😊
17/05/2026: Excellent food. Typical Alsatian dishes, a must-try. Reservations are essential if you plan to go on a weekend.
