The Golden Star! What a pleasure to return to this restaurant, which hasn't changed a bit! I used to go there very regularly with my parents and family. I no longer live in Alsace, but I will definitely be back, because the dishes, the tarte flambée, and the new, reimagined desserts are excellent. The welcome is very warm, and you don't have to wait to be served. The Bruckmann family has remained true to its high standards of service and hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Family meal (10 people) to try tarte flambée. I found them rather inconsistent: one was overcooked, another had very little bacon, another had an excessive amount of onions. In short, it wasn't bad, but I've had much better tarte flambée. The service is very good, only one beer is offered on tap, the restaurant is a bit dated, with a dirty ceiling and old-fashioned feel. Large dining room, a bit noisy. Very large parking lot, wheelchair accessible.

An unforgettable family evening at Bruckman: thank you to the wonderful waitress for her warm welcome, and to the owner for her genuine hospitality. The Alsatian-style horse roast is truly a must-try at this restaurant! I personally tried the gratinéed flammekueche (so creamy!), as well as the hanger steak, which was deliciously tender (a delight to taste such soft, caramelized onions), which I highly recommend! The place is very cozy, quiet, and well-insulated; we were comfortably seated, and everything was perfect! Thank you again! ✨

Very good food, however, twice in a row we felt overwhelmed in the sense that everything was served one after the other, and we didn't even have time to finish our appetizers before the dishes were already there. The first time, we arrived at 8 p.m. and left at 9:15 p.m. The waitress was already sweeping up. Okay, we want to eat quickly for lunch, but dinner is family time. That day, the appetizers weren't finished, the dishes were already arriving, then the plates were barely empty and already cleared away. We ordered dessert and were immediately asked if we wanted coffee. We hadn't finished our dessert before the coffee was already there. The second time, the same thing: the appetizers weren't finished before the dishes were already there. This time we had time to eat peacefully because more people had arrived. The waitress should have been a little more patient between the appetizers and the dishes. We arrived at 7:45 p.m. and left at 10 p.m. It's a little better. His goal is really to go as fast as possible to finish as quickly as possible.

Truly the best tarte flambée! I only like to eat it here because it is so very good. We have been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years and I have never been disappointed.
