01/03/2026: Warm welcome
Friendly and welcoming staff
Good meal
28/02/2026: Returning a year after giving four rows of 5 stars, I'm slightly revising my opinion. While the tarte flambée is still in my top three, the potato pancakes were a huge disappointment—completely tasteless and spongy. Despite the small pot of bibeleskäs (a type of cheesecake), we were let down. They lacked any crispness, and we were almost glad we only received two (cut in half for the illusion?).
I hope the rest of the menu lives up to expectations, as the restaurant itself is pleasant, with rustic decor, lovely ambient lighting, and tables spaced far enough apart for a peaceful atmosphere. The service deserves a special mention; we were served quickly and with a smile. I criticized the Black Forest cake on my last visit (a year ago), but feeling adventurous, I gave it another try. I should have stayed away; it still wasn't to my taste.
I don't know what other customers think, but I find the prices excessive, very excessive.
For example, a quarter-liter of wine is almost €10, and the traditional tarte flambée is €10.90.
If I refer to my last review, a year ago, the prices were significantly lower. Worrying inflation.
Despite these reservations, I recommend it.

Go there with confidence, you won't regret it. One of the best tarte flambées in the region. However, the Black Forest cake with a crust is a bit of a rehash. I recommend it.
