Restaurant Chaussard sur Ouroux-Sur-Saone

I highly recommend this waterfront establishment. The change of ownership in early 2024 has not affected the spirit of the place.

A place that doesn't look like much. A very good experience. The welcome, the service, the meal, the meeting with the chef, everything was perfect. The meal was very good and plentiful (frogs, pikeperch, fried fish). We highly recommend it. A very good family time. Our 2 and a half-year-old daughter loved the frogs' legs.

Very well received by the chef. Served by an excellent waitress who was very smiley. We ate very well. 5 people. Excellent fried food. Excellent frog legs and divine escabeouf. I confirm that the pâté is indeed homemade because the chef was preparing it when we left. Seen with our own eyes (following the remark in the reviews that it was industrial). Some negative reviews are not representative of the restaurant. Be careful, it is not a 5 star because at 5 stars the menu is not 34€.

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant on the banks of the Saône. The portions were generous and delicious! Impeccable service and welcome! We'll be back 🙂

We received a warm welcome, the service was excellent, and the food was top-notch. We wholeheartedly recommend it from start to finish; the terrine was a huge hit, not to mention the frogs' legs and the absolutely wonderful pike-perch in pochouse sauce. We will definitely be back.
