Restaurant Chaussard sur Ouroux-Sur-Saone

A lovely little evening, a friendly atmosphere, and the manager was smiling and pleasant. My frog leg dish was excellent, and the escabeuf was very good. We highly recommend it.

People come to Le Chaussard to spend time with family or friends when they have some free time. The place is pleasant, the frogs' legs are good, but the service is completely unconventional.

A very good restaurant by the water. The service was a little slow... we waited 45 minutes for our aperitifs, but after that it was fine and we had a very pleasant time as a family. The chef came to chat with us; it was very nice! I took my father to this restaurant for his 83rd birthday, and he was delighted! We'll be back! ☺️

We had the set menu: starter + frogs' legs with parsley sauce + dessert. It was very good. The service was impeccable. The chef did a great job, especially considering he was working alone that day. Passing through by on our bikes with my sister, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff. We hadn't reserved a table, but we were given a great spot overlooking the Saône River. The menu was excellent value for money. Even my little dog was well received. We'll be back!

The food is top-notch, the frogs' legs are cooked to perfection, and I highly recommend the fried frogs' legs as an appetizer with a fruity and refreshing sparkling wine!
