Restaurant d’Altitude Le Passe Montagne sur Chatel

Good, unpretentious mountain restaurant with a choice that remains limited but good value for money for a resort restaurant. There should be more diversity with more balanced dishes (choice of accompaniment too limited for fries). Otherwise, nice terrace with a view of the slopes and friendly waiters.

Nice terrace, fairly good quality dishes but quite annoying to look for a place to eat when some places are occupied by skiers who eat their own food

I have been going to this mountain restaurant for several years, but this year I found the quality and quantity really down, the staff is friendly and the terrace is great!

Great place and views. Bit pricey but to be expected given where you are.

Decent self-service kitchen. But still ashamed to leave the toilets so dirty when we were only at the start of our shift! I understand that there is a lot of traffic but if we don't take a picnic on the slopes, it's also to be able to access the toilets! (preferably clean)

Great spot for a coffee and/or a snack on the pisté. Good view especially if the sun is out. Toilet is a bit Funky though.

The location of this restaurant is perfect as it is located between slopes and elevators going up. A perfect spot to rest and have food. Be aware: this is a self-service restaurant. Inside you line up for the kitchen where you make your order. You can wait there until it is prepared and then you pay and get mayonaise and ketchup. When we are having lunch here, we take the double cheese burger as it is so juicy. The fries are lovely. Great place to come back!
