24/05/2026: A wonderful time at La Tanne aux Marmottes! ❤️ A magnificent setting in the alpine pastures, a warm atmosphere, and above all, a radiant, dynamic, and very welcoming owner. We had a fantastic meal: excellent crepes, a delicious fondue, and a complimentary digestif that was much appreciated 👍 A huge thank you also for being open, as it was the only alpine chalet open in the area during this sunny Pentecost weekend… quite incredible for a resort like Châtel. A truly wonderful place that we will gladly return to! 😊 And they even have Pontarlier wine! 😂

24/05/2026: We had a fantastic time at this crêperie. It's the only restaurant open out of season. Everything was perfect! The owner is radiant and full of energy. The crêpes and fondue are incredible, and the setting is ideal. We'll definitely be back soon to enjoy some Pontarlier anise liqueur here! 😁😁

A huge thank you to the kitchen staff for spoiling us so much, to the ski equipment manager for his invaluable advice, and to the rest of the staff—it was so pleasant to return to them after a day on the slopes, where kindness and attentiveness always awaited us. The waitress remembered everyone's order (group of 8) and the proprietor came to check that we had enjoyed everything. We hadn't realised that we had stayed beyond closing time, but they did not hurry us out. We were made to feel very welcome.

I was dying for a well deserved beer and Isabelle kept me well hydrated. 🤣 I came back a few days later to meet a friend and despite being fully booked, Isabelle went out of her way to accommodate us. Highly recommend this place for the warm hospitality, cozy setting and great food!

21/03/2026: No greeting, they speak to us rudely, no politeness whatsoever. They refuse us a table under the pretext that we have to "buy something" even though we were just going to have coffee before eating our meal here.

08/04/2026: So glad I introduced my teenager to Crepy. A warm welcome: mulled wine on the sunny terrace, then lunch inside, a feast for the eyes. Very generous portions, served quickly. The waiter and waitress were very friendly. Definitely an address to remember! We'll be back.

04/04/2026: We are extremely disappointed with our recent experience at this restaurant, which we have frequented for many years. From the moment we arrived, the waitress made no effort to help us access the terrace or find a table for three. Even worse, we were reprimanded three times without any valid reason: first, supposedly because we were blocking the way (which wasn't the case); second, simply because I asked other customers if they could signal us when they left—which, according to her, was unacceptable; and third, for a simple request about a lack of salad dressing. We were also told there were no more seats available, even though the dining room was practically empty. This gives the impression of very disorganized management. We knew this establishment when it wasn't self-service, and we can clearly see a significant decline today, both in terms of quality and service, as well as the staff's attitude. It's all the more regrettable because we had recommended this restaurant to friends who were with us that day, and they had made a reservation. Unfortunately, this experience was very embarrassing for us. We certainly won't be returning.

11/03/2026: To give you an idea of ​​when to call: during peak season at the end of February, I called at 7:15 PM, and the first available pickup was at 9:00 PM. I had a friendly chat with the two team members present during pickup; they were working hard to deliver great pizzas!

The food was generally good, but it's a shame it wasn't piping hot enough when served; it detracted somewhat from the enjoyment. We were seated in a small room behind the bar. The place is nice, but it could use a bit more light to be even more pleasant. Despite these minor points for improvement, it's still a good place with a very friendly team.
