24/05/2026: A wonderful time at La Tanne aux Marmottes! ❤️ A magnificent setting in the alpine pastures, a warm atmosphere, and above all, a radiant, dynamic, and very welcoming owner. We had a fantastic meal: excellent crepes, a delicious fondue, and a complimentary digestif that was much appreciated 👍 A huge thank you also for being open, as it was the only alpine chalet open in the area during this sunny Pentecost weekend… quite incredible for a resort like Châtel. A truly wonderful place that we will gladly return to! 😊 And they even have Pontarlier wine! 😂

A huge thank you to the kitchen staff for spoiling us so much, to the ski equipment manager for his invaluable advice, and to the rest of the staff—it was so pleasant to return to them after a day on the slopes, where kindness and attentiveness always awaited us. 14/07/2026: FOOD POISONING!!! My whole family got sick after eating at this crêperie! Vomiting and diarrhea! The crêpes were disgusting; I can't even imagine the lack of hygiene in the kitchen and the poor quality of the food… this restaurant should be shut down. It's unacceptable. Avoid it at all costs; never eat there!

19/04/2026: We had a lovely time at this restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is genuinely kind, welcoming, and friendly, which makes all the difference. The food was generally good, but it's a shame it wasn't piping hot enough when served; it detracted somewhat from the enjoyment. We were seated in a small room behind the bar. The place is nice, but it could use a bit more light to be even more pleasant. Despite these minor points for improvement, it's still a good place with a very friendly team.

16/07/2026: Local tip (ATTENTIF): If you need a late night bite this spot is sometimes open later than posted online depending on how busy the night gets (for takeout, I can’t vouch for dine in). It’s a perfect place for pizza. I got one pizza and it feeds one person, myself on the night that I ate it, perfectly. I also grabbed a drink on my way out from a fully stocked refrigerator in the takeout kitchen. I had a great night. Staff here are friendly and knowledgeable, there’s fantastic service in this area of town (Abondance~) for food so that’s pretty standard. There’s many polyglots in this area which is exemplary of how welcoming this area is. The food here is great quality and I like how many options there are on the menu for classic urban fare. 😊

11/03/2026: To give you an idea of ​​when to call: during peak season at the end of February, I called at 7:15 PM, and the first available pickup was at 9:00 PM. I had a friendly chat with the two team members present during pickup; they were working hard to deliver great pizzas!
