Restaurant Darna sur Paris

Excellent restaurant with tasteful dishes. Algerian cuisine is really represented with this restaurant.

We came as a group of five for Iftar despite recent negative reviews about the service, and we were quite pleasantly surprised. The servers were very friendly and the service was remarkably fast. We arrived about 30 minutes before Iftar and still managed to find a table on the terrace. The chorba was delicious and the dishes arrived quickly, which was much appreciated. Overall, the experience was very good and the prices remained very reasonable during Ramadan compared to other similar restaurants.

Top-notch service! Super friendly despite the crowds, especially at iftar time. The food was delicious, harira and mtewem b tba3 as they say. By far the best in the neighborhood, I think it deserves more recognition!!!

A huge thank you to Mr. Nordine who took care of us with such kindness and professionalism. He was attentive throughout the meal, always smiling and listening to our needs. It truly made a difference. We had a wonderful time, I highly recommend him!

I like the restaurant and especially their dish, the Faux filet with Normandy sauce is very good.

We came from Mexico and stayed near the neighborhood. From the moment we arrived, we kept passing by and seeing the restaurant and the lines outside. Today, after a few days, we finally got to sit down and eat. The food was exquisite, and the best part was the warmth of both the waiters and the people who seemed to be regulars. They made me feel like I was having a wonderful and unique experience. The couscous with chicken and the Chorba Frik soup were like a balm to our hearts and stomachs, far from home. Without a doubt, when I return to Paris, I'll come back to eat here. Best of all were the prices.

You grab your own grillers, and they handle the rest of the service. From what I noticed, they speak multiple languages, so it’s very English-friendly. Most customers seemed like regulars, and many greeted me with “bon appétit.” Overall, I enjoyed the experience.

The kebabs are good, and so is the mashed potatoes. But there's a huge queue... It's annoying. It would be nice to have the table of two served before the table of five. The tables are very close together...
