Anyone visiting Bitche and the citadel should definitely eat there! The daily special was delicious and reasonably priced. Drink prices are good, and the steak was also very tasty! Just be aware that the tarte flambée is only available in the evening, so it's not served at lunchtime. The ambiance was like that of a fine-dining restaurant, and the service was incredibly friendly and attentive. We never had to ask for more bread or baguette, nor did we have to wait for our drinks. Very attentive. The staff speaks French (of course) and German. I don't know their English. There are six parking spaces in front of the restaurant, two of which are designated for people with disabilities and are quite spacious.

Sensational homemade wild boar roulade and rhubarb cake Run by a lovely couple who run this restaurant. I stumbled upon this delicious place while passing through. The detour from the highway was well worth it.

I arrived a bit late without a reservation by car 🚲 - the owner conjured up a wonderful Quiche Lorraine for me - visually very appealing - it was very good - I'd gladly come again.
