This restaurant was recently taken over by a very friendly young couple!
We had a great time, everything was very good.

I discovered REAL FRANCE in this region and REAL HOME COOKING! The prices will pleasantly surprise you! The garlic soup was a surprise.... Everything else is up to you! I am sure that all visitors to this restaurant will support me in my review). And a speedy recovery to the sweetest woman who works here)

We have been coming to this restaurant for a number of years and although we come for a few days at a time, Madam, the owner, quickly remembers our names. We sit on the terrace as the sun goes down over the abbey and have a superb meal which is of exceptional value. The setting, food and host make it a wonderful experience. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough and would give this a 6 star rating if we could. It is our favourite restaurant in France and we keep returning. Others have heard of this hidden gem so would recommend booking.
N.B. The restaurant has changed its name to Comptoir de l’Abbaye and sells local products too.
Thank you Mme and M Delpech, we shall return again one day.

Outstanding lunch! . A truly wonderful place to enjoy traditional French cuisine in a relaxed country setting (directly across the the very interesting Abbey). Now known as ‘Comptoir de L’Abbaye’ the restaurant setting is behind the shop frontage and clearly very popular with the locals for good reason. My choice of Duck Cassoulet was delicious (and also the choice of six other diners on tables to my left so it must be good) . My wife thoroughly enjoyed a goat cheese and jambon salad and together we managed to squeeze in the Canele for desert to cap off a superb lunch. Highly recommended.
