Restaurant de l'Abbaye, France sur Flavigny-Sur-Ozerain

We had lunch there on the terrace. Despite arriving late compared to the reservation, we were made to feel very welcome, placed on a table of 4 to be in the shade (even though there were only 2 of us). The cuisine was very tasty, the dishes more than generous. The ice cream sundae is really great, the coulis, custard and whipped cream are free. Very good choice of local beers as well as wines. The exterior setting is really nice, inside a little less so. The car park is 50m from the restaurant.

Une attente interminable pour un résultat acceptable mais rien de folichon. Les serveuses devraient apprendre leur métier ….

Everything is there: good French cuisine, the panorama and the atmosphere of the village nestled between the ancient stones... taste the egg casserole! A DELIGHT! Yum !

Het restaurant heeft heel mooie terrassen, daarom onze reservatie, maar...als het geen goed weer is, is het geen aanrader! Keuken valt mee, maar bediening en sfeer kan veeeel beter. Serveerster zegt bijna niets, is super gestresseerd, smijt bijna alles op tafel, ruimt de aperitief niet op vooraleer het hoofdgerecht te serveren en geeft ook pas bestek als de borden reeds op tafel staan...kan vele beter! Er is ook geen muziek.

Very good meal, local specialties, quality products. Do not hesitate !

The burger (without the epoisse sauce served “exceptionally” at the next table?) is simple but delicious! Long wait despite the room not being full. A bit of a sad atmosphere! Background music would be welcome to encourage customers to chat with each other without fear of disturbing the neighbor!

Starter and dish of the day, copious and excellent. The tiramisu was just as good. Friendly and smiling welcome. Booking is recommended. The catering offer in Flavigny is very limited and it would be a real shame not to be able to enjoy a good meal.

Excellent welcome, terrace with your feet in the grass.... a real pleasure with a view of the surrounding hilly countryside... and a treat on the plates... everything to make you want to come back.
