Excellent hotel, very good location, comfortable rooms although the bathroom is poorly lit. The most outstanding thing about the hotel is the reception staff, super friendly, attentive, and helpful. I recommend it without a doubt. Alberto Tabanera de Lucio

Excellent service, friendly treatment, comfortable room with sea view.

Location is amazing. Beach, shopping, dining and scenic spots all a quick walk away. Staff is very friendly and try to be as helpful as they can. The room was tight, very close quarters. That’s okay if you only need the room for sleeping and a quick shower but if you plan to spend any length of time in the room, consider a larger accommodation. Hotel shows equipped with AC but it is seasonal and unfortunately beginning of May temps did not bring the switch from heat to AC so we were very warm. Opening the windows to bring in the ocean air helped but with that came the noise and smell of the cafe and diners below. As well as the flies. That made for a rough night. We started the day tired and bug bit, but wiser….”always call ahead and ensure the AC is turned on”. Overall the hotel was fine for an overnight stay that was a whim to hit the beach for Labour Day.

Three stars only because of the excellent location and the cleanliness of the common areas. But the room service was poor. They brought us the water pitcher two days after we arrived, and even then, only after we asked. They didn't replenish the coffee or the cups, and the ones that were left were unwashed. The window next to the bed had no curtain and faced directly onto the street, leaving the occupant of the bed exposed. The Wi-Fi in the room never worked, despite our complaints. It's a shame, because the location is truly excellent and the staff were very friendly.

It's always a pleasure to stay at the Hôtel de L'Océan, which is very well located, very clean, and offers the warmest of welcomes! This time we were in Biarritz for a sad event, and the entire team took such good care of us—they were simply lovely! A huge thank you to Noémie, Auriane, and Sophia! 🙏 And to the whole team at Café de la Place who also pampered us 🤗

A lovely place to stay in Biarritz. We stayed two nights in March. Our room, with its balcony overlooking Place Sainte Eugénie, was perfect ;-) Beautiful, tasteful, and harmonious decor. Impeccably clean. A generous breakfast and pleasant service. We booked through the hotel's website and received special attention. We'll be back ;-)

The hotel is very well located, right in the city center, near the market, with an incredible sea view overlooking a quiet square. The welcome was both warm and professional, and our room was spacious and well decorated.

Great stay at this hotel in Biarritz :) I highly recommend it!
