Restaurant des Druides sur Rochefort-Montagne

This is my account, Sir Ludovic de Téléton, a lord neither cowardly nor benign. On my journey through the mountains and mists of Auvergne, I stopped here at the Druids' Lair, a place draped in ancient strength and strict discipline. There I was served sausages tied with esparto grass, covered in a bold and frank mustard sauce, which does not flatter the palate of the weak. Now, I am a man of great exacting standards, and I do not trust appearances: I summoned the household staff, questioned them one by one about the order of the dishes, the cleanliness of the hearths, and the uprightness of their practices. I found no fault there, only knowledge, decorum, and honor. Know that whoever reads these words knows that here the establishment is rightly guarded, and that the host, without trembling, withstands the ordeal of a lord who is not merciful. I bear witness to this, on my faith and my name.

The food was absolutely delicious, made with local produce! Pure bliss!

The appointment for the calf's head with gribiche sauce has arrived! So now I can judge the food! A succulent meal...my friend even had seconds of the main course...my colleague is a real gourmet. From the appetizer to the dessert and coffee...flawless! The owner and his son...they're a dream team...there's rugby in the air! Now I'm looking forward to the homemade tripe...my mouth is already watering! See you soon!
