Restaurant des Sources sur Feniers

Not all the best restaurants are in Paris or other major cities. In the small department of Creuse, there's a restaurant in Feniers, just a few kilometers from the Millevaches plateau, that's well worth a visit. My friends and I had the pleasure of spending a delightful lunch there yesterday, a truly memorable experience. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was impeccable, the explanations of the dishes were incredibly precise, and the flavors and tastes on the plate were perfectly balanced. As an added bonus, we had the opportunity to witness the preparation process firsthand by chatting with the chef. We were truly impressed. Having the chance to compare it to some Michelin-starred establishments, we don't understand how such a restaurant isn't listed in the Michelin Guide or Gault & Millau. We simply hope that this oversight will be corrected by the Michelin Guide in 2026. Thank you, Chef, and sincere congratulations to you and your wife.

To put it simply and effectively, probably the best restaurant in Creuse!

We never tire of coming to the Sources restaurant. A delight every time, impeccable service. The dishes are wonderful and the desserts are to die for.

It's always a pleasure, which I would describe as intense, to dine at Restaurant des Sources! I've even come to eat alone once 😀! Be warned, you need to book at least 7, sometimes even 10 or 15 days in advance to have any hope of getting a table! Especially during peak season like now. That just goes to show how popular the restaurant is! After the chef's amuse-bouches, you have a choice of classic starters: the sweetbreads, absolutely divine! The homemade foie gras, always excellent! And two other starters that may change depending on the season and the chef's inspiration, but I'm never disappointed—always with combinations and seasonings that delight your taste buds! And if you don't want a main course, you can choose a dessert, which is always perfectly executed, or skip the starter and opt for a main course and dessert... in short, nothing is imposed on you! And the chef and the service are far superior to a certain Hôtel de France in the region! No, I don't get a special rate at the Sources restaurant to make that claim! Anyway, I'm going back at the beginning of August with my son 😀🥰!

An excellent restaurant! I love restaurants, they're my thing, but truly the best cut of beef I've ever eaten (mature beef). The sweetbreads were excellent. I've been to Michelin-starred restaurants... this one has two stars, plus the sorbets are 98% fruit, made by a master ice cream maker—pure bliss! The chef is passionate, with love and respect. The waitress was extraordinary, a truly wonderful welcome. I will definitely be back with friends. It's an hour and a half drive, no problem. A delight made with the finest ingredients...
