One Sunday outing, two of us arrived, a little late for a midday meal: the welcome was warm, efficient and pleasant. I ate a really delicious trout there! A very good restaurant that I highly recommend!
The food was very, very mediocre but quite expensive. Unusually, the service was exclusively French-speaking and prohibited desserts from being ordered later. If you don't know whether you want dessert at the entree, you're in the wrong place here. After clearing the table, our group of eight people were quickly brought a bill without being asked to empty the dining room. An unfortunately completely unsatisfactory experience.
Edit:
Regarding the owner's comment:
- Of course I ordered in French - after all, I was in France. But I would still have expected the local dialect in Lorraine.
- When the order was taken, the waitress forbade the dessert to be ordered later, so no one was “asking again in the kitchen”, so the question arises as to who is “lying” here.
- Since some similar reviews have been made here, I will allow the host to believe that he has had bad experiences with guests.
- Due to the polemical answer, I of course allow myself to give a third star of grace :)
Continued economic success!
