It was okay, but far from the best couscous I've ever had. I was especially disappointed by the amount of semolina served, which was also quite dry. On the other hand, the vegetables were very well cooked. The ice cream could have used some whipped cream and a nice garnish! And I would have preferred to serve myself the couscous!

Great place, it was excellent! The service is particularly warm and the food is delicious. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Colmar!

I expected a much better tagine. It tasted like nothing, I asked for salt and chili pepper 🌶. I make it at home too after being in Morocco, I had some fabulous tagines there.

A warm welcome from the owner, who takes his time with his customers and even hums a tune between courses. We enjoyed a delicious couscous and a lovely dessert. The decor is typically oriental. I highly recommend it.

D’Jjerba La Douce is a wonderful hidden gem on Rue du Mouton. The authentic Tunisian atmosphere instantly transports you, and the food is fantastic. The couscous (especially with merguez) is outstanding — perfectly spiced and generous. The tagines are equally flavorful and tender. Service is warm and welcoming, portions are hearty, and prices are very reasonable. A true delight for lovers of North African cuisine. Highly recommended! Highly recommended — 5/5 stars.

09/01/2026: We couldn’t resist walking past this beautiful shop and weren’t disappointed. The staff were incredibly helpful and more than happy to indulge all our questions. The produce is fresh, as local as possible, and delicious. We came back the next day for more and enjoyed everything we came home with.
13/12/2025: Cynthia created a delicious cheese board for my family to enjoy while on holiday in Colmar. Her attention to detail was next level, ensuring a taste of many different produces. Highly recommend!
