Chez Kuna sur Colmar

Anyone visiting Colmar absolutely MUST eat at "Chez Kuna". Reservations are recommended, or you can simply show up when they open 😉 They serve Balkan cuisine, which tastes so wonderful there – 5 stars aren't enough! The value for money is unparalleled in Colmar – simply amazing. The staff is relaxed, incredibly friendly, and always up for a laugh.

A perfect meal, a table of nine who were equally delighted by the generous portions and the kindness and friendliness of the staff. The meats were delicious, and even the vegetarian option was a hit. Highly recommended!

Nice restaurant! Located 2 minutes from the Colmar cinema. No parking reserved for the restaurant. We personally shared one dish between two people because they serve generous portions. The fries were good, not too salty, and the salad was fresh with unusual vegetables. For the price, the portion is generous! Note that there are only two pork-free dishes. We sat inside; they have a large dining room. Unfortunately, the tables are quite close together, so you can easily hear conversations from the next table, and when it's busy, it gets quite noisy (like a cafeteria). The two waitresses were very friendly, the dishes arrived quickly and were piping hot. The drinks arrived almost immediately. I didn't have dessert there, but their menu offers quite a few different desserts, mainly ice cream. But also crepes, coffee, etc. I recommend it.

We had planned to drive an hour to pick up a takeout order. In the end, after two phone calls, we gave up. The first call was particularly unpleasant: no desire to take the order, a cold tone, and then the person hung up on me before I could even ask a final question. During the second call, I simply asked if it would be possible to cook the meat a little longer, as my wife is pregnant. In response, I received a sigh of annoyance, followed by another abrupt hung-up. Yet this wasn't the first time we had ordered from you. The quality of the food isn't everything. Respect and customer service are just as important, and your bad mood shouldn't be imposed on your clientele. Even if your food is good, I will not be returning to your establishment. Being welcomed and treated with respect is the foundation of business, and on this point, you made absolutely no effort.

We had a fantastic meal, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the waitress was so kind to my children. The food was delicious and reasonably priced!

We had lunch with friends on a Sunday terrace. It was very good, the portions were generous, perhaps too generous as there were lots of raw vegetables and fries; we couldn't finish either. The atmosphere was pleasant. I recommend it if you want to have a great time.
