The "Steinmühl" restaurant is one of the best Alsatian restaurants in this area. - Excellent cuisine - Great service - Very friendly chef Whether inside the restaurant or, weather permitting, on the cozy terrace - see for yourself; you won't be disappointed.

Nice restaurant, excellent Irish coffee, very good tarte flambée, the cream sauce on the escalope was a little bland. But we'll be back for the tarte flambée.

This was our second visit, and like last time, we weren't disappointed at all. The staff were pleasant and attentive, the tarte flambée was excellent, and the other dishes looked very tempting. The only slight drawback was that it was a bit noisy, but that's perfectly understandable given that there were three large tables, including ours, which was a party of ten. We will definitely be back.

21/02/2026: A perfect experience, friendly and approachable service, and delicious, generous portions.
15/02/2026: We had a wonderful time at Au Cheval Noir. We were at a lovely table with young children, received a very warm welcome, and the staff were absolutely delightful. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the cocktails were delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.
