Restaurant du Golf Marterie sur Saint-Felix-De-Reillac-Et-Mortemart

On my third visit to the golf course in two years, I'm disappointed for the second time. The change of chef is definitely noticeable... I'm not talking about quality, but preparation. Being from the region, they could do much better without charging extra. The food was very simple, lacking any passion. No special touches whatsoever... just basic, simple, homemade fries that were dry, whether baked or air-fried. The tiramisu (whipped cream, speculoos crumbs) wasn't really tiramisu... In short, that was the last time. It's a shame, because the setting is magnificent.

We were very pleased with the service and the food at this restaurant. There were 16 of us at the table for my mother's birthday, and we were all very well looked after! The portions were generous, the setting was lovely with a view of the golf course ⛳️, and the staff were very friendly and took group photos of us 😎. In short, we sincerely recommend this restaurant.

We stopped for dinner while passing through the area on the recommendation of a local, and we weren't disappointed at all. The Périgord menu we enjoyed was generous, delicious, and very reasonably priced. Special mention goes to the homemade apricot fondant, which was divine.

A quiet and shady place, excellent grilled meats (the best in a long time), generous portions and very smiling and welcoming staff, a very nice discovery, we will be back.
