At first glance, the restaurant makes a very good impression. However, the first disappointment wasn't long in coming: the terrace, highly praised in the Michelin Guide, was only occupied by three small tables during our visit, all of which were already reserved – and this despite the forecast of 26 degrees Celsius. Oh well.
Inside the restaurant, we were given a table in the back, even though the place was almost empty.
The service was lacking. Our empty aperitif glass was cleared away last, and no one seemed to care whether we enjoyed our meal.
And the food? Well-marketed, but the taste was, at best, average.
What a shame!

A truly wonderful experience at Restaurant Grand Saint Benoît.
The Saint-Aignan trout with dill and celery jelly was incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced. The crispy sweetbread escalopes with their separate jus, a house specialty, were remarkable: crispy texture, precise cooking, and a wonderfully fragrant sauce.
The desserts were equally impressive: a delicious and expertly executed revisited tarte Tatin, followed by an intensely spiced and elegant Valrhona chocolate from Ecuador.
Refined cuisine, quality ingredients, and a masterful command of flavors. A restaurant I wholeheartedly recommend.

A wonderful discovery and a very pleasant surprise. We discovered it thanks to the Hotel du Labrador, and this restaurant is delicious.
Everything was good, from the appetizer to the dessert (perhaps the best lemon meringue pie of my life...). The service was friendly, and the place is beautiful and peaceful inside. Go there!

Overrated. Poor value for money, unaffordable wines, and unoriginal cuisine. Avoid the very bland "revisited" tarte tatin, which isn't really a tarte tatin at all... No menu, limited and uninteresting selection of dishes. Expect to pay at least €70 per person with wine... clearly excessive compared to similar restaurants in the area.
