Very pleasant setting. A bit pricey but good quality.

A very pleasant setting in the Hamlet! The restaurant staff are very professional and friendly. We were served quickly. We will definitely return if we have the opportunity to visit the castle again.

This is the second time we've eaten at this restaurant. The team is incredible, the dishes are delicious, and a special mention goes to the whipped cream and the ambiance. Don't change a thing!

We stopped here for a snack after visiting the castle and we weren't disappointed. We had a wonderful time. First of all, the setting is sublime, in the heart of the hamlet and in the English gardens. You couldn't ask for a better location. And when the weather is nice, you can get a table outside by the canal, which makes the setting even more exceptional. The service is also impeccable, with very friendly staff. And finally, let's talk about the food: we tried the strawberry tart with Chantilly cream and it was simply delicious, from the pastry to the famous cream itself. We really enjoyed it. It's true that the prices are a bit high, but the food is good, homemade, and you couldn't imagine a better place to enjoy truly excellent Chantilly cream. It's definitely worth it in my opinion; it's nothing like the store-bought kind. Since then, every time we visit Chantilly, we stop for lunch. And we've never been disappointed. Whether it's the leg of lamb or the duck confit, there's nothing to complain about; the meat is tender and falls apart easily—a real treat. But what I must particularly commend is their potato gratin: it's simply divine every time. In short, whether it's for the setting, the service, or the food, go for it. However, since the restaurant is located in the castle gardens, you'll need at least a park ticket to access it.

Truly a gorgeous and unique setting to have a meal! We had the duck confit and tartine, then a creme Chantilly with strawberry, all of which were delicious. The duck confit is tender and comes with excellent potato gratin. The tartine is satisfying. The creme Chantilly is of course a must-have. They can also make an espresso Chantilly - short espresso topped with creme Chantilly, a delicious combination. The seating area is delightful, though if you're visiting in summer then be prepared for the heat and seek some shade. Service was fast and courteous, but we arrived as soon as they opened at noon. This restaurant can get busier at around 1:00 PM so plan accordingly.

This restaurant has improved significantly. The quality is now very good. However, the prices are exorbitant; it's expensive.

A must-do after the visit, the setting is fantastic, you can eat outside, and the whipped cream is to die for!

We came to try the Chantilly cream with strawberries. We loved it.

We come every year and are always well served, but this year the service was catastrophic! Waiters in tracksuits and caps (by the way, great recruitment, even if they are trainees) were playing around with water pistols during service, and a waitress was throwing water bottles around. Sure, it was incredibly hot, but the least they could do is apologize when they splash customers, right? Well, nothing at all. These people should take a leaf out of the book of the lady with the dark glasses and the curvy blonde who come every year and do a fantastic job!
