A pleasant setting. A warm welcome and service. Uneven dishes considering the portion sizes. Don't choose the risotto. It's good, but the price is excessive: 22 euros for a timbale leaves you wanting more.

Hello everyone! We had a fantastic New Year's Eve at the Grand Café du Lac 🎊🎊 The service was excellent, attentive, helpful, and always smiling. The atmosphere was amazing; we sang, danced, and laughed like children. A fantastic experience. The welcome was top-notch, with smiles and professionalism from the entire team. We had the lamb shank – pure bliss! We highly recommend it for the welcome, the service, and of course, the meal. We will definitely be back.

Hotel Restaurant La Tour du Vieux Port

07/12/2025: Cute room, friendly staff, perfect for what we needed. We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious.
28/11/2025: One-night stay for business. I would say the value for money is quite good. You go to this establishment for the care with which the owner prepares delicious meals (I love the Ma restaurant!) and the kindness of the owner (who carries your heavy suitcase up to the second floor because there's no elevator)... otherwise, it's true that the hotel is undergoing renovations, so the shower cubicles are cramped, the taps a bit stiff, and the decor basic, but the bedding is good and the view of the Dordogne is rather lovely! In the morning, the noise of cars on the cobblestones is noisy, so bring earplugs or be an early riser! Enjoy your stay!
