A wonderful discovery that I'm happy to share. A small, friendly restaurant, just the way we like them, with homemade food, very generous portions, and absolutely delicious. Fresh frogs' legs served in a pan with a potato gratin. Numerous homemade desserts (the nougat glacé is divine). As you can tell, I highly recommend it. Open on Sundays.
A truly delightful time shared with a couple of friends from Bourg-en-Bresse. The owner's warm welcome and impeccable service.
A traditional meal with frogs' legs: grilled to perfection! A real treat!
Discovered an amazing "non-alcoholic Martini"!
A perk of getting older: no more alcohol or fizzy drinks.
A friendly and relaxing atmosphere! A must-try if you haven't already!
Hearty traditional Dombes cuisine made with good quality ingredients, homemade desserts, friendly owners, in a pretty little village with parking – everything you need for a pleasant stay.
Over an hour's drive for supposedly good frogs' legs: alas! Tiny frogs' legs, inedible dauphinoise potatoes, a blueberry tart—or rather, a blueberry jam tart on a not-so-good crust—and extra charges for everything (bringing the menu to over €50.00!)... I disagree! Never again! I strongly advise against it! And all the other diners agreed...
