We came on Tuesday for tarte flambée / pizza 🍕 evening. The owner was alone and there were a lot of guests, but it still went pretty quickly. Tarte flambée was fantastic 😊… call beforehand 📞 is highly recommended.
Xavier Hammerschmidt gave us a very warm welcome at his restaurant "La table du Pont Neuf" on 23 July 2024. We were travelling by houseboat and moored directly in front of the "Pont Neuf" => the restaurant is a 5-minute walk away. Xavier spoilt us with his "pizza and tarte flambée". Great host, in a rural ambience with reasonable prices - highly recommended!
We had an appointment for a family activity a few km away.
Pressed for time, we were very well received and were able to eat in record time!

We were traveling by houseboat and stood in front of lock 15. Then we made a phone call: the boss took a lot of time and the translator…….. we got the pizzas we ordered delivered to the houseboat, on foot ‼️‼️ AN UNBEATABLE SERVICE‼️‼️
I think you have to make a reservation to eat in the restaurant, but I’m not sure…….

We stopped there for a drink, superb welcome and wonderful service. Seeing the other customers' plates made our mouths water.
Next time we will try the restaurant! Parking for our can-am spyder. I highly recommend this restaurant
