A magnificent site with a superb 380° view

I went up to Utelle to get a quote from one of my clients who advised me to go up to La Madone. I followed his advice and I don't regret it. It’s a magnificent panorama. France definitely has nothing to envy of the rest of the world. I quote Hugo Grotius who described France as rightly the most beautiful kingdom after that of the heavens.

Absolutely a magnificent 360° view. That day a flight of a dozen bearded vultures circled in the sky. June 2024 The Madonna is under repair. A little further on, an orientation table will show you the main massifs that you see. The road is narrow and full of bends, a delight for bikers. There is a hiking trail which leaves from St Jean la Riviere. Good walk
