Incredibly cheap! We came back from a hike lasting several days and wanted to take a shower. Hotel is very clean. Interior "with patina" but very clean. Shower in the room, but in our room the toilet was in the hallway - you have to like it. No problem at all for us. Super nice service, great tarte flambée and local wine. Again and again! Oh yes, and the Chateau Neuf Windstein is within walking distance (a bit sweaty) and in great condition... Can you discover something...

Nestled in the heart of the Schwartzbach valley, this small restaurant could be called "back to basics". We eat well there for excellent value for money, a nice setting, and gentle service. There's no fuss, no fuss but it works! P.s: the tarte flambée is excellent 🙏

An enchanting stay in a cozy environment: We booked our night at this hotel through Booking to visit the Chemin de Cimes d’Alsace and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The hotel is strategically located just 27 minutes by car from our main destination and pleasantly surprised us from the start. The hotel has a charming, old style that immediately made us feel at home. The private room with a double bed, at a more than fair price (less than 60 euros per night), was very comfortable and, above all, spotlessly clean. The decoration of the hotel, especially in the restaurant and on the stairs, gave the whole thing a warm and homely atmosphere. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. A detail that we really appreciated was the possibility of changing to a room with a large double bed, which gave us more space for our one-year-old child who was not comfortable in the baby bed. This gesture made our stay much more pleasant. The food also deserves a special mention. Dinner was delicious, especially the goat cheese salad, which was perfectly seasoned and with a combination of cheese and ham that we really liked. Breakfast was varied and satisfying, with an exceptionally good bread that we really enjoyed. Additionally, the hotel is just an 18-minute walk from Windstein Castle, which offers a very pleasant walk and beautiful forest views. It is an ideal location for anyone who enjoys nature and wants to explore the area a little more. Although we missed a high chair for babies in the dining room and blinds in our room and perhaps fly screens on the windows for the summer, these were just small details that didn't detract from our overall experience. Another idea for improvement would be to perhaps install a small swing and a slide in the garden outside the hotel, which would be ideal for small children. In summary, we had a very pleasant and comfortable night in a clean and well-maintained environment, which gives us the confidence to return in the future and explore more of this beautiful region. We'll definitely be back!

Very friendly hotel run by a family, i stayed there with my partner after a hiking trip, The room was very clean and we had our own bathroom, They treat everyone as family, and they are very kind.

I stayed here with my partner on a hiking trip through the Vosges. It was a great pleasure to stay here. The owners were super helpful and nice! We had our own bathroom which was very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Even though it was hot outside the room was not too warm. We had a great view on their beautiful garden. All in all a great stay, that we would come back too!

Simple but very clean hotel. Good location. Very friendly staff and attentive to customers. Great breakfast with several types of bread, homemade jam, cheese, ham, eggs etc.... It's a change from "industrial" breakfasts! The boss is an excellent cook. Their dishes are very good and homemade.

Calm tranquility and space to clear your head, it's exactly this place.
