Sweet bar in the gay district of Paris!

Thank you to Marie for her warm welcome and friendliness. This is a legendary bar in the Marais, and we feel "like family" 🏳️‍🌈 as Marie says—that phrase really touched me! I ducked in on a short trip to Paris and was met with good conversation and a place I felt comfortable in right away. Thank you to Audrey and Marie. Long live lesbian bars.

Encouraged by a friend to whom I explained that I thought I was attracted to women, I went to Elles bar to explore. Being very shy, I didn't dare speak, but the people I met there were very welcoming and friendly. I had a wonderful evening. Since I very rarely drink alcohol, I was very pleasantly surprised by the mojito that Marie, the owner, served me. I appreciated the perfect balance. Thank you so much.

A quiet place where the owner is old-school (which I love). We told him my wife was from the southeast of France and I was from the Basque Country, and we quickly struck up a conversation... a place where you can go peacefully; for a Friday, there was no party atmosphere... we'll be back another time.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I went last night with my girlfriend on a double date with our couple friends, and the owner was wonderful. She's tough and really protective of the space. Really cool and admirable. The decor is wonderful, the lights as well. We got mojitos, I found them great, super strong too. Overall, if you're looking for the most comfortable lesbian bar experience i totally recommend this place!!
