The best couscous in Marseille? It's true that the barley couscous is original, excellent, and easier to digest. The meat on the skewer was very tough, and the lamb was just a lot of unappealing fat. The waitress was quite unfriendly, while the owner was much more welcoming. The decor is exotic and well done.
In short, a mixed experience; the value for money isn't great.

A true gem of Middle Eastern cuisine. From the moment you step through the door, you're enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The remarkably kind staff immediately creates a friendly and genuine ambiance that makes all the difference.
The couscous we enjoyed was absolutely exceptional, one of the best we've ever had. The anchovy dip was surprisingly delicate, the golden and flavorful briks, the mechoui was incredibly tender… each dish is prepared with a care and generosity that you can feel from the very first bite. And to finish, the tea and Middle Eastern pastries provide the perfect sweet touch that prolongs the pleasure.
But this place is more than just its cuisine: it's an ambiance, a soul, a true journey. At the entrance, the elderly gentleman, perhaps the founder, greets you with a genuine smile that sets the tone: here, you're not just in a restaurant, you're welcomed as if you were visiting friends.
