Restaurant Françoise Avignon sur Avignon

First visit since the change of ownership. A "hello" wasn't exactly customary at Françoise's, as everyone knew. It's a shame the two new young owners haven't brought this magic word back into fashion. Even when you arrive with your hands full. Is this a cursed place for saying hello with a smile? Otherwise, two of the three waitresses are smiling and friendly. Given the choice between two places serving coffee for €1.50, which do you think you'd go to? With or without a smile?

By far my favorite café in Avignon! A very warm atmosphere, ideal for getting some work done, with delicious pastries of course ;) Update 4 years later: A landmark is closing… we'll miss you.

The place is nice, but the food isn't up to par. I came six months ago and found the (small) slice of savory tart bland and greasy. I tried again today...same result. The quality/quantity/price ratio is unsatisfactory. Really. In my opinion, it's an overrated place in Avignon. The service, however, was very good.

The place is charming, the food is delicious, and the service is perfect.
