This place was so good. We stopped here on our way to Canfranc for lunch and had one of the best meals on our trip. Highly recommended the duck and steak and homemade pies. Service was awesome and it’s the perfect combo of historic and modern atmosphere.

On a whim, we stopped here in the afternoon for a drink. A glance at the menu told us it might be worth coming back in the evening. And yes – it was! Excellently prepared dishes made with local ingredients, incredibly friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. A definite recommendation for anyone who wants a good meal! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

My partner and I, after cycling up to La Pierre Saint Martin, stopped at the Gouillardeu restaurant to enjoy a delicious selection of charcuterie. The new owners are very welcoming and incredibly kind. Highly recommended. Very reasonable prices.

22/08/2026: Fantastic discovery! Very warm welcome. I had onion soup and for dessert a delicious Basque cake with cream. Thank you for your cheerful service. Excellent cook, I'll definitely be back.
