We had a very good lunch; we thoroughly enjoyed the food and presentation. If there were one minor drawback, it would be the starter, which was brought out very quickly, too quickly, practically at the same time as the aperitif and even before the small tapenade that accompanied the Spritz. Since the starter was cold, it could have waited!

Delighted, as always. Personally, I must give a special mention to the dessert on the new menu. A surprising combination of apricot, goat cheese whipped cream, and chili pepper, along with other subtle touches I couldn't quite define, which made the whole thing explode with flavor. I loved it! Thank you.

Another (and always) great time spent at the Hotel de la Gare this Saturday evening… this time in the Club… a nice change from our usual lunches or dinners in the restaurant. A quick game of pétanque followed, just for fun… it was fantastic, even if the tapas menu could be a bit more extensive. Thanks to the whole team at the Hotel de la Gare for the delicious food and the professional service they provide.
