Restaurant Il Cortile sur Mulhouse

Third meal at this beautiful restaurant, very positive. The first time, summer 2024, the food was excellent but the service was disastrous. It was so good that I returned despite the negative points (which have since disappeared). Second time, autumn 2025, the food was still extremely good (thank you to the chef who has been there for 25 years), the service had greatly improved, but there were a few minor issues for a Michelin-starred restaurant. And this third time, March 2026, everything was perfect. I'm still a big fan of the cuisine, with its delicate and flavorful Italian dishes. It's possible to exchange some dishes on the menu. I highly recommend coming to enjoy a meal at Il Cortile and forming your own opinion. For my part, I will definitely be back.

A Michelin-starred restaurant in Mulhouse, renowned for the delicious and inspired cuisine of master chef Mr. JM Feger. Many thanks to the entire team, the excellent sommelier Théo, and the wonderful service from everyone, including the friendly Hamza, the lovely Fanny, and all the others... thank you! We had a business lunch at this restaurant, a wonderful discovery. The food was delicious, served in a comfortable setting with a genuinely friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back for dinner.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. No complaints whatsoever, perfect, I had a wonderful time. The dishes are exquisitely prepared, I loved it. I highly recommend it.

Impeccable service! A cozy atmosphere. We were served by Théo, who took excellent care of us. The wine selection was perfect! The menus are excellent, featuring high-quality ingredients! A mixed experience at this Michelin-starred Italian restaurant in France. The scallops were excellent, the wine list was high-quality, and the service was friendly, but the rest was disappointing: tasteless truffle, equally bland lobster tagliatelle, and attention to detail even in the restrooms (yellow towels in the toilet). If you love Italy for its colors and flavors, the experience fell flat, except for the limoncello with coffee, the only real moment of escape along with the tiramisu. Overall, the level of service fell short of expectations for a Michelin-starred restaurant and a top Italian establishment.

The only Michelin-starred restaurant directly in Mulhouse, boasting Mediterranean-Italian cuisine, friendly service, and a beautiful covered terrace. The food was fantastic, especially the foie gras (combined with cocoa, coffee, and orange), and the many desserts, from pea and mint tiramisu to baba with homemade limoncello, left nothing to be desired. Highly recommended!

It's often said that staying at the top is harder than getting there. Jean Michel and his team are staying the course. Everything is perfect, and it shows in the smallest details. Here, high standards are met. Special mention goes to Théo in the dining room who managed our large table brilliantly.
