Portions are modest. The reception is disappointing, quite poor attempt at humor. The decor remains superb. Be careful not to become just a tourist trap.

The most difficult thing, for a place like Bofinger which has been part of Parisian culinary heritage for so long, is to maintain the setting, the service and the quality. So far, and at least as far as my experiences are concerned, no exits. Hat.

Good welcome and good food! However, we waited more than 30 minutes between the starter and the main course. Something that literally took away our hunger. Too bad because the place is atypical and warm and we had no commercial gesture despite our nice addition.

Superb institution both for the interior decoration and the quality and generosity of the dishes. The sauerkraut is to die for, and if you're hungry, the starters and desserts will round off a good, quality, festive meal.

03/04/2024: What a fantastic restaurant! My husband and I had brunch here our first day in Paris and it was an awesome start to our trip. Super cool atmosphere, warm and friendly service, and absolutely fantastic food. Loved the yogurt and granola bowl, and the croque monsieur was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. The apple tarte tatin for dessert was so good, and the rich, thick hot chocolate was just divine. If we lived in Paris, this would be one of our regular spots for sure. We’ve already booked dinner the day we leave so we can try some more dishes!

Le Bar-Brasserie-Restaurant le Sympathique

02/04/2024: Nothing has changed since our last visit 6 months ago: the atmosphere is still cozy and friendly. The menu is varied and the portions are generous, good value for money. The dishes are simple but well presented and above all very good, like the homemade deserts. You will have to taste the couscous which is as plentiful as it is varied.
26/03/2024: Excellent pastillas tasted today on the chef's advice. Homemade chocolate muffins have won us over! Excellent establishment on all fronts, absolutely recommended! Thank you to the establishment manager for his welcome, his advice and his sympathy! See you soon !
