Restaurant Julien sur Plaine

An exceptional place! Superb buffet breakfasts! And homemade cuisine featuring beautiful ingredients. A wide range of spa options.

A place of refuge! You feel right at home!

It's a shame that we can rate places out of 5 stars, as there are some that are worth far more than 5. We decided to eat there midweek at lunchtime and opted for the 7-course tasting menu. We have absolutely no complaints; everything was perfect. We packed our gear for a hike, and we're so glad we did! The stairs right in front of the hotel lead to a 6 km walk. It wasn't exactly a luxury 😅, it was really just a way to work off the few tiny degrees of alcohol we had in our system... Thank you for this little waking dream on our plates.

We had an unforgettable weekend at Julien's. Everything was perfect… the room, the buffets, the spa! We were lucky enough to participate in the open kitchen and its exceptional buffet. But what we love most about this establishment is the family atmosphere. We'll be back very soon.

We had booked a spa day + meal for 4 people. The indoor jacuzzi wasn't working. I went to inform the receptionist who told me they were aware of the issue. That's it. Since I can't submit my complaint by email because the messaging system on the website isn't working, I would appreciate an explanation.

A wonderful discovery. The spa area is impressive. It's the best of all the ones we've seen, without a doubt.

The restaurant was very good, but we won't be back.... Everything was fine until halfway through the meal, when a group of five Belgian couples arrived. They must have thought they had the place all to themselves. They completely ruined the atmosphere of the "Cosy" room. They were noisy and vulgar... We exchanged glances, and every table in our field of vision seemed to be experiencing the same unpleasantness. Our hostess kindly offered us dessert at the bar, and we didn't hesitate for a second. But then, they forgot about us at the bar!..... So we ended up going to reception ourselves to pay for the meal where it had left off and left with a rather bitter taste in our mouths. It's a real disappointment because it started off so well. It would be wise to put groups of boorish people in a separate room. Otherwise, they shouldn't advertise the "modern" room as cozy and quiet because it's simply not true.

Memorable, unprecedented, we could give it "6 stars"….

Without hesitation, I will return; the services are top-notch. Plus, it's right by the sea.

Day Spa Day. A wonderful experience during our Day Spa. Access to the spa is a truly relaxing moment in a superb, elegant, and particularly pleasant setting. The cleanliness of the premises is impeccable, which really contributes to the well-being and quality of the experience. We also greatly appreciated the thoughtful touches, especially the small basket given to us upon arrival: a detail that may seem simple, but which truly makes a difference and demonstrates the care taken in welcoming guests. Lunch also lived up to our expectations, with a delicious and high-quality meal. We appreciated the fact that, if the daily menu didn't suit us, it was possible to choose from the à la carte menu, thus offering greater flexibility. A truly wonderful break for relaxation and indulgence, in a magnificent setting, with an attentive team and thoughtful touches. An experience we will gladly repeat!
