Restaurant La Baie d' Halong sur Roscoff

Toutes les crêperies étant fermées le soir à Roscoff, pour changer un peu des fruits de mer, nous sommes allés au restaurant vietnamien. La vitrine extérieure est petite mais le restaurant immense. Il faut cela car il y a beaucoup de monde, même un jour de semaine mi- Novembre. Le personnel est très aimable, et la cuisine classique d'un resto chinois en France; C'est bon et pas cher, on peut manger pour une vingtaine d'euros. Si vous en avez assez des fruits de mer ou des crêpes - si une crêperie est ouverte - je le recommande pour les amateurs du genre, dont moi.

Restaurant whose front doesn't look much from the outside but the interior is really spacious and modern, the cuisine is good and varied and the welcome is decent. Certainly one of the best current addresses in Roskoff.

Here too I wonder how a 4.5 rating comes about. The food was mediocre at best. My friend even said that the Asian fast food restaurant around the corner from our house would be better... Seriously, the duck is made in a classy way and served in a hot pan. When you read the menu, you think it's going to be the hottest duck in your life, but two things weren't right: 1. The fat wasn't fried and the skin was wobbly and the fat wasn't edible. That felt like 30% of the portion. If duck is fried, please do it properly. Bold see picture. 2. Almost all dishes are processed without any vegetables. In my opinion, you would have to order every dish with the extra vegetables for €5 and the extra rice for between €2.50-3.80, which makes the €15 for the duck even more. The customer would definitely be more satisfied if he gets a ready-made dish. The duck, for example, only came with a jelly-like, extremely sweet sauce, which tasted more like BBQ than Vietnam.

Awesome! A great restaurant, great hospitality. Honestly, it’s a great discovery among all the tourist restaurants near the port. At the back of the restaurant there are bay windows on the ceiling which give a beautiful light with a small fish pond. The menus are super interesting.

Pour notre dernier soir à Roscoff nous avons décidé d'essayer ce restaurant de spécialités asiatiques. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, la prise de commande a été rapide et le service très professionnel. La carte est variée et la cuisine est excellente. Nous avons passé un très bon moment.
