Right in the heart of Roscoff, we enjoyed an enhanced aperitif of oysters and white wine (no orders taken before 7 pm, which is normal). The dishes were original and well-prepared, like the stuffed artichoke and the scallops with fennel mousseline – I highly recommend it! We were seated on the terrace (sidewalk) with our dogs, who were offered water twice. The atmosphere is created by the customers; some staff members are more attentive than others, who seem more jaded by the tourist influx.

A nice and average place to enjoy lunch. Atmosphere was ok, but to be honest I couldn’t tell the vibe of the atmosphere, since we sat alway in the back. Despite there being plenty of seating in the front. Food and service was nice and friendly, so no complaints on that part. I was a little concerned we would be forgotten about since we were sat in the very back. However, that was not the case they were still very attentive. Maybe in the future ask if someone would be ok sitting in the back or would they prefer sitting in the front I think that would be more hospitable.

You'll only have one wish when you leave this brasserie...that it would open right downstairs! Fresh, plump oysters, mussels in a creamy sauce that were absolutely divine! I ate everything...the mussels and the sauce...not to mention the kouign-amann...to die for!
And when you eat such a wonderful meal in a fantastic atmosphere, it's even better...Michel sets the tone with his charming eccentricity, and his team is just as delightful with their broad smiles.
Thank you again, and please don't change a thing!

A very pleasant restaurant, generous portions and excellent food. High-quality service and a warm welcome. Attentive and engaging. Delicious homemade fries.

We had a wonderful time at Le Surcouf restaurant. A name that will resonate with those who love the city of privateers. The restaurant is ideally located, the dishes are delicious and well-prepared, and the service is impeccable and professional.
An address I wholeheartedly recommend when visiting Roscoff. 👌
