Restaurant La Bascule sur Saint-Didier-Sur-Chalaronne

Great village restaurant. Simple and efficient cooking. The daily menu formula is incredible, unbeatable in terms of price and quality. Go there with your eyes closed. For my part, it’s a must every time I come to the region.

I highly recommend La Bascule. Very good burgers (but not only that) that you can make yourself if you want with lots of local products. We will come back with pleasure

Delicious burgers are their specialty, but we still went for the piece of meat. We were very pleased with this and we could not have wished for a better chef and piece of meat. We will definitely come back here.

We arrived mid afternoon on a Sunday, five of us on cycles. We were welcomed like family and treated to a wonderful meal. The food was not complicated and was delicious. The beaujolais wine (Morgon) went down a treat and the service was impeccable: warm and fun. Sad to leave when we had to get back in the saddles! Recommend you ask for a thé au lait if you want to draw a laugh.

I miss the superlatives! A selection of cold drinks at all times and succulent burgers give me an exquisite reason to return as soon as possible. Little icing on the cake that will delight young and old gourmands: a vegetarian option is available for all burgers
